started working here, part-time, in 1988 when my children were very young. About 15 years ago, I enrolled in the PSARA Cruise Accreditation Scheme. This involved attending ship visits, familiarisation trips, and training events to become a Cruise Specialist. Taking a clients’ initial idea, and then turning it into the tailor-made itinerary of their dreams is what the job is all about for me. This could be something as simple as a theatre break in London, to a once in a lifetime trip around the World.

Favourite Destination

So many to choose from, but probably the Far East because of the diversity. We did everything from Elephant Trekking to afternoon tea at Raffles Hotel Singapore in one holiday.

Most Memorable Destination

This would have to be our first Caribbean cruise to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary! Such a special time as we swam with dolphins, hired a speed boat and snorkelled in The Bahamas.

Must-See Destination

The Grand Canyon. The word ‘awesome’ can be somewhat overused in the USA, but it is the only word to describe the sheer majesty of this vast landscape.

TIME….Always build plenty of time into your travel plans. The majority of mistakes and bad decisions are made when under pressure.
